At Octagon Finance, we can usually get loans approved in principle within 24 hours (during working hours) and terms issued, dependant on your application and circumstances.

All the costs are built into the interest rate, unlike many other lending options, making private finance a flexible and cost-effective option if you have less cash on hand upfront. When considering private finance, it’s important that you have an exit strategy as private finance is not a long-term solution.

Interest rates for this type of finance vary depending on the risk profile of the lender and the security. Typically, low risk deals start at 6% pa and a typical loan to value ratio of 70% is the maximum allowed. Repayment terms can be flexible and generally range from 6 months up to 5 years, with interest paid monthly, or rolled up and paid on discharge along with the capital.
